Fossil has launched its latest smartwatch, The Fossil Gen 5E. This smartwatch is powered by a Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC making it an amazing choice for every smartwatch lover. Gen 5E has a Heart Rate Monitor that can keep track of your heart rate 24/7.
Fossil Gen 5E made its debut in the US market in October 2020 and it has finally made its way to India as well.
Specifications suggest that it is just a toned-down version of the previous Fossil Gen 5 with some slight design modifications and different size options.
Fossil Gen 5E Price
The Gen 5E has a price tag of INR 18,490 in the Indian Markets and would be available for sale on Flipkart and Fossil’s official website.
This smartwatch is being offered in two different sizes, for Men (44mm) and for Women (42mm) with multiple color options for each of them. They offer Silicone, Stainless Steel, Leather, and Stainless Steel Mesh strap options with the Gen 5E.

The Gen 5E is powered by Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC along with Google’s Wear OS. Both, 44mm and 42mm variants are loaded with the same specifications. It has a 1.19-inch AMOLED display with a 390×390 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 328ppi.
The Fossil Gen 5E Smartwatch Smoke Stainless Steel can withstand up to 5ATM of water resistance while the others can withstand up to 3ATM of water resistance.
It is equipped with 1GB of RAM along with a storage capacity of 4GBs. For connectivity, Gen 5E relies upon Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC, and Wi-Fi.
Some sensors packed up on board are an accelerometer, gyroscope, off-body IR, and PPG heart rate sensor. One of the good parts is that the Gen 5E also supports Quick Charging which makes it 80% charged in just 50 minutes.
The Gen 5E has multiple battery modes including Daily Mode, Extended Mode, Time Only Mode, and Custom Mode. Fossil has promised that it can last more than 24 hours when tuned in with the Extended Mode.
